 New Puppy with skin sore!

I am a new Yorkie Mommy to Charlotte, she is a tiny little thing (1 lb 2 oz at 11 weeks) I rescued her from a puppy mill... but I wish she was bigger..
I noticed that she had something on her right shoulder and I though it was dried hair sticking together.. So I gave her a bath and it really was a scab...It fell off and left an open wound so I rushed her the the vet hospital at 8:00 at night. They said it was probably from when she had her last shots. They did not seem to concerned so they put her on antibiotics and a antibiotic cream and said to bring her back in 5 days for her next set of shots and a recheck... Has this happened to any of your puppy?
