I agree with Ann that it may take some time to adjust. Even dogs who come from the best of circumstances can be a little nervous when moving to a new home with new humans.

Regarding the potty concerns -- my Teddy was 8 months old when we picked him up and he was really shy about going in front of us. He tried to hide it. Sometimes it is not obvious when they are peeing.

Give her time and she will eat, drink, and potty when she really needs to.

You can also change her name and find one that she responds to. We changed Teddy's, who was originally Tank.
