She is still eating plain baked chicken with plain white rice and a bit of sweet potato. I am afraid to go back to the kibble she was on. The kibble she was on was Wellness toy dog chicken formula...however she use to scratch so often it became worrisome. Since she has been on chicken , rice, sweet potato... much less scratching is going on. With the kibble I thought maybe she was allergic to chicken, but since she has been on regular chicken for a few weeks, there is much less scratching. I would appreciate recommendations, especially from the show breeders, as to what kibble works best and what homemade recipes work best. The diarrhea and the bloody diarrhea lasted for a while and I do not want to go back there. Thanks in advance for you help and your concern!! My Angel is only 5 lbs.
I tried that food and Callie started throwing up and had diarrhea and was diagnosed with IBD. I still wonder if it could have been that food. You might want to try one of natural balances small breed formulas they have limited ingredients. In order to do home cooking right you have to have a recipe from a vet nutritionist and you have to use a supplement. For that you can check out balanceit.com and petdiets.com
