We're from Texas too and so we really like the "western" sounding names!!! Actually my husband was in the hospital and his nurse was going to help him walk - and he turned to my husband when he got everything ready and said, "come on Rowdy, let's go!" At that very time we were trying to think of a name for Rowdy - and so Rowdy it was and we love it!
