Hello, YorkieTalk~

I'm getting a lil Yorkie boy next month! My first yorkie, woo! (Not my first dog, however!)

I worked as a dog bather at a grooming salon for a little while, so I know some basic grooming techniques. Nail trims, sanitary trims, ear cleaning, teeth brushing, etc.

I've been trying to do some research online and in the forums for the questions I have, but I haven't really come up with much luck. Maybe I didn't look hard enough, so please don't hate me if the questions have been answered 400 times before on here!

I'm planning on growing his coat out. I'm totally fine with daily brushing, weekly bathing and the like. It's really relaxing to me for some reason! How does the grooming you do to your pup change as he gets older?

I also read that boy yorkies with long hair, you have to wipe them off after they pee or something along those lines. Do you just shave them underneath all the long hair on their tummies and on their bums?

I could probably think of other questions too, but I'll just stick with those for now. Thank you so much, guys~!
