Hi and welcome to YT . Some dogs do have reactions...in that case, it's always good to give them some Benadryl about 45mins before the shot, and a steroid shot is also a good idea.

What shots were given at both these visits?

For this pup, I'd be only getting one shot at a time (which is what I do for all my dogs, btw)...and I most def wouldn't give any non-core vaccines. The core vaccines are rabies, parvo, distemper...all other ones are elective and often not at all necessary.
