Are yorkies just too independent for that kind of thing? |
Hi leslieann79! I think Yorkies all have various temperaments, like all dogs do. For example, my MIL's male is hot and cold with everyone but her. Her female is lovey-dovey to everyone she knows, but definitely dislikes strangers.
My girl (the daughter of the two dogs mentioned above) prefers me to anyone else and is super clingy. She is friendly with most everyone else that she knows, barks her head off at strangers until she's sure they're okay, and will tolerate being around kids but dislikes them touching her or picking her up.
So, I think it really is just the luck of the draw.
