I have had many females spayed over the years and never had to have a lampshade collar on them. Why don't you just remove the collar for awhile and just watch her close. Is she on pain medication? It usually takes them a few days to quit hurting and to start feeling better. Just continue to hand feed her and spoil her. I pray she makes a speedy recovery.
