It's amazing how quickly a dog can approach and jump on you.
I got out of my car one day with Lola in my arms, we were walking from the street to my house, about half way across my lawn a beagle came out of nowhere and jumped on me. Thankfully she was friendly, she lives 2 houses down, but that was the first time I met her so I didn't know that, scared the hell outta me. Her owner was out and didn't understand why I was upset.
Anyway if she had been vicious she easily could have attacked Lola, even in my arms.
I'm more careful now, before I was more focused on the other side of the street where I know there's a vicious dog and where the sidewalk is. |
