 Puppy help
I am considering buying a Yorkie right at the end of the school year, so that there will be more time for us to bond. But I'll be going back to work at the end of August. I've had a dog before and we crate trained him (Puggle), but I'm not so sure I want to crate train the Yorkie as my schedule may require me to be gone a little longer during the school year (work is kinda far from home). Can anyone give me some insight about crate training vs. playpens? I am thinking a playpen with food/water, toys, bed, and pee pads (grass scented, because I would like my puppy to be comfortable using both). My building is pet friendly, but I don't want to rely on a stranger coming into my home to take the puppy out. |
