The vet I saw today said, he wouldn't do it cause the bone is almost flat and the knees are actually on the outer side of the leg. Looks like he was born with it. No that is a different kind of surgery to TPLO. There are many different kinds of repair for Medial Luxating Patella, some dependent upon ACL or CCL tears. I am at work, I will try to find the article that talks about the different surgeries when I get home.


I would definitely get a second opinion from another ortho vet and in particular where 107Barney recommended. She is in the States and knows your area and some of the specialists with in it.
