My 6 year old yorkie was seen by an orthopedic vet today. Long story short, he has Grade 4 Medial Luxating Patella in both back legs. He said the bone is so worn down he wouldn't be able to do the "usual" surgery he does of making the groove deeper for the patella and said that I may want to consider total knee replacement surgery for both knees. It looks like he also has osteoarthritis in both knees.
1. Does anyone know anyone in Mass or Southern NH that does this type of surgery?
2. How much does it cost?

Kind of confused about the whole thing.
