Our senior dogs are on iams and our cats. Our cassie, whom we lost a couple of years ago at the age of 13, was also on iams her whole life. It's what we have fed our animals for the last 15 years and they have always done very very well on it. Winnie was not able to have iams because she has had some tummy issues since we brought her home. She was on Blue Buffalo from wean and we continued that. Through a lot of trial and error and months worth of time we finally found that natures variety prairie puppy us what agreed with her. She's doing great on it. There are tons of different opinions on food....but the best thing to do is find what works with your dog and your budget. If what she is on now is working and is not a poor food then I would stick with it. Food changes need to be done gradually if you do choose to change.
