It is actually common for them to get bordatella from the nose drop vaccine....vets will deny it but they use a live vaccine in the drops....I have experienced this with 6 of my dogs....now the vet will charge you for treating the respiratory issues that nose drop caused, and it is going to cost you $$, and the baby will feel lousy, and it can easily/usually takes MONTHS for the disease to clear up.....another reason they will not admit pups can get kennel cough from the drops. I always tell my new owners if they want to give the kennel cough vaccine, insist on the shot. "Dead viruses" are used in the shot, the drops are made from "live viruses". My dogs do not leave my property so they are not exposed to the disease, so I personally do not give that vaccine. |
