For some reason, most winters, I just crave potatoes and eat them at least twice a day in some form or other. Cannot get enough of potatoes, ever.
What is "single cream"? Sounds yummy whatever it is. I'm for anything that has the word "cream" in the title.
A trip to Surrey sounds just the ticket, Sally. I would love to just watch you cook all those wonderful things you all have to eat, not to mention get to chow down on them. What a treat that would be, girl! Wahoo! |

You could always come over for a Jeanie/Harry Happy Birthday celebration....!!!
Single cream, I THINK, is the same(ish) as your 'light cream'?
I make my mash differently now...ever since I had my back/shoulder problems....
Our 'top chefs' recommend doing baked potatoes in the oven (we call them 'jackets') then scoop out the middle, into a bowl and gently fork over, so there is no huge bashing/mashing involved - and the taste is amazing...
