Oh, wowzer, drooling here and any and all those variations sound creamy and dreamy. Love me some plain old mashed potatoes with just butter and salt, pepper plus any and all "upgrades" to the dish. Any and all additions and variations I've always loved, especially anything to do with cheeses. For some reason, most winters, I just crave potatoes and eat them at least twice a day in some form or other. Cannot get enough of potatoes, ever.
What is "single cream"? Sounds yummy whatever it is. I'm for anything that has the word "cream" in the title.
A trip to Surrey sounds just the ticket, Sally. I would love to just watch you cook all those wonderful things you all have to eat, not to mention get to chow down on them. What a treat that would be, girl!
