If she resists being crated at night, what worked for me was to put mine in it (I have 2 but got them at different times so I had to do this twice but it worked both times) and put the crate on the nightstand by my bed, so they could see me. I'd stick my finger in between the bars and pet their little faces. I left it there for about 3 nights, then moved it to the floor right beside my bed. Each night I'd inch it towards the spot where I wanted it to stay and they did fine. Never cried or anything. Now when I say "bedtime" they run and jump in their crates. And if I have to work late (I work at home) they fuss at me at 11 pm sharp because they know it's bedtime and want me to take them into the bedroom so they can crawl into their beds.

As I said, I've done this twice and it worked both times so I hope it'll work for you too.

And congrats on your new baby!
