Yes, I agree there are good and bad vets. So far I have been very lucky

Many, many years I worked in a hospital and always thought it funny that families would thank the dr for saving their loved one. Excuse me, where was your dr during the code blue, I bet home all snugly in his bed and it was the nurse who started the code and worked hard to save them. We had one medical resident who would come on the unit for his final evening rounds, see that i was the nurse in charge and mutter, I guess I wont get any sleep tonight. Sorry, bud, just doin my job.
