I had the same problem with my boys age 13 and 2. The older one is dominant and will go at the younger one and the younger one is starting to stick up for himself and fights back. I would try and brake them up and tell them no is a stern voice and push them apart. I keep them on the same level so they don't feel like one is the "winner". However, one day they were going at it and the younger one has a stronger bite and I put my finger by accident right in his mouth as I was trying to pull him back. Let's just say I saw stars!! A nice gash on my finger and throbbing and pain for 3 days. So now what I do is yell "no!" As loud as I can... It really startles them and they know I mean business and stop right away! It has to be a very loud yell... Might startle the other residents in the house lol! But I works and they have actually been getting along great and I am having less incidents. |
