It's great to see you are doing your research. I was reading your post about potty training on pads in the winter. We had a lot of success doing that. When I first brought Calleigh home, the weather was warm so she learned to go potty outdoors. We lived in MA then and she didn't want to have anything to do with rain or snow. She learned to use the potty pads pretty quickly. She is seven now, and I still leave a pad down just in case I'm out longer than I expected to be. She uses the pad and I don't have to worry about her trying to hold it in for a long time. These little ones are so smart. In another post patience was mentioned. You will need a lot of that. I remember thinking Calleigh was just like a toddler, always into everything. I wasn't working at the time so I didn't get a an xpen. She sure kept me very busy all day.
