Almost forgot, there is some stuff at the fabric stores they sue for babies to keep the bed dry I case the baby wets - can't remember the name - but you can curmitmto fit your carrier. I used to make 3 or 4 layer before Cali got so good at going in the plane restroom. If they do wet you can pull one oayer off and just throw it away, or put it in a sack and take it home and wash it for the next trip.
It is kind of like felt on one side and vinyl on the other. It it is very soft. It is washable and can be reused.
I also,used it for my geriatric Yorkie some years ago who dribbled a little bit at night in her sleep.
Wish I could remember the name, but the clerks at the fabric store should know what it is.
