It could be so many things - but like we all know if this is a new behaviour, and most especially if it takes her a long time to settle down - that is of more concern.


A startle reflex could be that her hearing is going a bit, and she is waking up to reverberations under her body, that she did not hear first; then that scares her and she starts to shake.


It could be a sign of more serious things......


Senior dogs need vet care - well most especially senior dogs. Which of course you know.
