Thanks Mike. I am going to start weighing them more often. Wallee now weighs 14lb although he still has a very definite waist. He was always very tough to feed and I think he has finally gotten to the point where he is eating better. (Or I have figured out what works). For Summer, I honestly don't know what to think. When I got her, she was still nursing puppies and I was told that the puppies were taking everything from her. Since then I have had her spayed and she has gained 1.6lb. I don't see her waist like I do Wallee's so I think perhaps a pound. I am cutting back treats for sure and I have ground the beef even finer so it is easier to measure just enough to flavor the kibble. |
