At the shelter where I volunteer, the trainer told me that many dogs are more fearful of men bc of their larger physical presence, and their deeper voice. I'd just continue to have your hubby work with her, holding her and talking gently...maybe even whispering to her, while giving her soothing pets/strokes. I bet this shaking will go away with time, as she learns she is safe. If she was only around female humans as a puppy, this wouldn't be surprising.
