I don't have any experience but from what I've read, it seems to depend on the dogs personality. If Tobie and Ella is good with other dogs, then I don't think they'd have a problem with a new furry member.
If you're going to rescue, I would think the organization would have a good idea of what their dog's personality is like and would be able to advise you on whether s/he would be a good fit for your family. |
