I took my dog to the groomers as usual picked her up got home noticed her nail was bleeding it turns out the groomer cut too low on one of her black nails. I called the groomer to find out what happened they replied "Oh we thought we had it stopped. Put some flour or corn starch or flour and it should stop or Bring her back and we'll put a little band-aid on it"

I did some online looking and basically found that its sort of common for accidental clipping too low to occur especially with all black nails.

I also found out that the regular nice lady who grooms did not this time.

Do you think they should have told me she got nicked WHEN I picked her up? Or am I making too much of this if it is rarely common so to speak?


Should I look elsewhere just for the fact that my dog may be traumatized now by that place?

I must say before this happened and with the regular lady grooming I have zero complaints with this groomer?
