My vet said the chance of a reaction was just as low as the chance of acquiring Lepto and he gave the odds of 1:10,000,000.
Then, he promptly vaccinated my dog who had no adverse reactions.
BUT, I think it is important for you to discuss with your vet as my vet is very pro-vaccination and stated that the reason the chance of contracting Lepto is so low is because we are all vaccinating against it - which makes sense.
