Most yorkies want to kill their toys, my boy wants to kill every thing. All my past girls would get super hyper with any toy. Me, I would let my boy work it out with the toy. If they are really scared of it they won't play with it or go near it. I think your pup likes it, reason he get super excited. You say when you put it up on the frig he looks at it, barks for it. Me, I don't mind excited pup. My boy see Mr. pesty Squirrel he will run from room to room, window to window panting, growling wanting to kill that pesty little critter. I let him be, it's good exercise lol. Do as you say, you best know your pup, let him have it for a few minutes. I think because it is a new toy that makes strange noises is what causes his excitement. He just may need time to get use to it. I see it's a buy on line only toy. I am ordering one today for my boy.
