Default Bully Sticks

There was a time I would give my now past girls chew sticks, hooves, pig ears, after reading how bad some of these are my little adopted boy has had no chew anything. After having Cody 14 months I have given him nothing to chew on and feel so bad about this. I see many members are giving their babies Bully Sticks, I saw Pet Supplies carried them so I got one for my boy. I gave him it tonight, it was about 5 inches long. Since he hasn’t had anything like this to chew I watched him very carefully to make sure he didn’t sallow the whole thing as he was so excited, also watched how much was chewed, not wanting it to get to small for him to sallow a large piece of it. After an hour or so I coaxed him with dinner so he would leave the bully stick and eat his food. When he was wolfing down his kibbles I took the bully stick away, it’s about 3 inches now. So my question is::::how many inches is it when you take it away from your baby. Codys is 3 y/o weighs 12 pounds.
