When Gracie was about 10 months old and doing very well one of my daughters moved out and it sent Gracie into a kind of depression. She started having "accidents" for no apparent reason.

What we did was kind of treat her like she was going back to puppy school. I tethered her to me so she was with me at all times. When she went potty on her pad she got lots of praise and a couple of healthy treats that we kept right there by her potty place. It was not long before she was back on track again.

The only other thing I can think of is to make sure she does not have a UTI or some other physical problem. Also, sometimes when they go into heat they will have potty problems. Your girl is getting close to having her heat cycle if she is not already spayed.

Yorkies can be a bit emotional so things that may not bother another breed of dog can effect a Yorkie quite a bit.
