Have you tried Fromm's Whitefish and Potato formula? The pieces are flatter and broader...shaped kind of like arrowheads...maybe a funky shape will slow Bentley down?
I had the same problem with Toki with "small breed" size kibbles. She chews up the Fromm Whitefish kibbles. And recently I've been feeding her the Royal Canin Weight Care/Spay-Neutered formula and she crunches those up pretty good too...the pieces are larger than Fromm. They are round and have little holes in the middle.
Lotus has a large, kind of odd-shaped kibble if you can find that near you. Maybe check out Farmina, Hill's Ideal Balance Large Breed Puppy/Adult, Solid Gold Wolf Cub/King too. Just tossing out some ideas! Farmina will send samples and a lot of independent stores that carry Solid Gold will have samples of that too. Hand feeding also isn't a terrible idea if it helps. Hope you find something that works. |
