Hi Marco's mom. I could have written your post. Our little rescue is about two but we've only had him about two months, and he's a little bigger teapot at 12 pounds. He had no name so we call him Ranger. At first he was shy and submissive. I've had other yorkies - so I thought this time we finally got a calm one. NOT! The longer he's here, the more we see that crazy yorkie personality coming through. He's turning into a real yorkie terror - which makes me happy. He also came with a lot of baggage, likes women and kids and is unsure around men. He was also un-neutered and marked like a faucet. Neutering, constant supervision and a belly band helped, and we've got the marking about 90% under control now. I say 90% only because I still don't trust him completely, but he hasn't used the belly band in over a week and I haven't caught him trying to mark and haven't found any evidence. He still marks like a crazy man outside though and I think every square inch of our backyard has been claimed by him. It is so fun to watch them blossom into the silly little dogs they were meant to be!
