Default Advice on Housebreaking

I have a new baby and her name is Darbee. She is 8 weeks old and I have had her one week. She is precious. Weighs 22 ozs. and full of life. Vet recommended she eat 4 small meals a day and that she does. I just need advice on housebreaking. I am crating her and she is doing great. Never eliminates in her crate and sleeps all night in it. I take her out to potty every time I get her out of her crate and she pees and poops outside but when we have play time there is no rhyme or reason when she will go again. We will have just been outside and she will dribble again on the floor. I watch her closely and try to take her out if I see she is sniffy and turning circles. I would appreciate advice and input on if I am doing it right.
TIA
