Hello and welcome to Yorkie talk!

I'm sorry to hear about your old buddy- that is a terrible situation! I'm glad he is on the antibiotics. I would think based on his history (what your vet has done- such as prescribed antibiotics-and says needs done) and based on the smell that he has infections and of course infected teeth are very life threatening. I don't have any personal experience with tracheal collapse myself- perhaps there is a specialist who could perform the extractions in your area? Maybe a partial sedation with a block anesthetic like we use in human dentistry so pup doesn't have to go all the way under? I hope someone with more experience in this area will have better advice for you. In the meantime- welcome and best wishes for you and your little guy
