Sometimes lymes test can be negative but they can actually have lymes. It's really confusing, but they're not 100%, I recall my vet telling me that. So even if Jackson had come up negative for lymes, it still could've been that. The round of doxycycline was what helped him. My moms old dog used to limp sporadically and she tested pos for lymes twice and then negative a few other times but she always had it, and my parents weren't very proactive so they just never did anything about it. I'm sorry, it's got to be frustrating not being able to pinpoint the problem.
