Yup, I feel your pain. Ali has a very tall expen, she can't jump out but she tries and I feel like even the "trying" could hurt her? We hold her on a very short leash if she is in our lap or we put her in the crate. She HATES the crate but she is getting more used to it. I put her in it when I am cooking or eating and I set her at a level where she can watch. I know she feels punished too.
This is a lot of work!
