Ok, don't kill me Ann, so after all that work you did on the candelabra, I found this stuff called Rub N Buff. Do a search on Pinterest. Apparently it sticks to almost anything and gives a patina finish that looks more like real metal than spray paint. It's a wax type substance, you wipe it on, let it dry a bit, then buff it off the raised areas (or where ever you want) to give a two tone patina look.

Kristin, it says it works for door hinges! I think you said you spray painted all your hinges and it was a b*tch? Now I may buy some to try on my door knobs and hinges bc the spray paint method I was doing took forever with all the layers.
