Hello everyone,
I'm new to Yorkie Talk and being a pet owner! My husband and I purchased a yorkie from a lady on craigslist who said that she was trying to rehome him from a family that didn't want him anymore. I'm very concerned about him though. I took him to the vet to get checked out. The vet said that he was healthy. I have several issues and need advice.
1. We had to rename him because the lady didn't know his name
2. He won't eat or drink
3. He walks around a little bit, but he isn't responsive to my husband nor me
4. He won't use a puppy pad nor use it outside. He's peed 3 times on the floor and pooped once.....When he starts to use it as soon as I catch him he stops so I can't put him on the puppy pad
5. This evening, he started panting and breathing heavy. He will be just lying in his bed and then will start panting.
His vet gave me some stuff to put on his gums, so I did that today but i'm really worried that his stomach is empty and he's dehydrated....
Please help.
