Callie has CT but has only had her trachea actually irritated where she had to go on steroids once. We had to do the whole treatment because you can't just stop steroids you have to wean off of them but I think she was only on them for a week and had improvement after four days. Hers was not horrible though. If your worried you could always call your vet and voice your concerns.
