Yes, I have begun my search and there have already been a couple of disappointments. I have decided upon a male pup and found two. Both were sold immediately after I made an appointment to see them. :-( But those may have been for the best.
I didn't realize the extent of the many unscrupulous people out there selling yorkies. Thanks to this site I know to stay away from fancypups -- which I wouldn't have known otherwise.
It is hard to know where to begin, but I have emailed a couple of breeders who said they would have puppies available early this year. Still searching though. Any other tips or suggestions are always welcomed! |
I have 2 male yorkies, and I just adore them....I also have a female parti, and a male chi rescue. Of all my 4, my male yorkie Marcel (my avatar pic) is the most affectionate, loving, loves to cuddle, be petted and held...which I just love! I got him from a show breeder in AZ - but she is willing to fly her pups out via using a courier who flies the pups in the cabin with them. If interested in her, PM me and I'll give you the info. If she doesn't have availability, she may be able to recommend other breeders to you.
