The reason for the difference in output is likely because Fromm is far less "dense" than Orijen -- and you are feeding the same amount. How much less dense depends on which Fromm formula you are feeding.
My boys eat Fromm Chicken a la veg. If they were to eat Orijen, they would require a lot less of the kibble per day. (compare calories per cup and fat grams per cup).
In other words, it would be like a human going from eating a cup of steak every day to eating a cup of lettuce, which would produce less output.
