So glad your SIL was there for Bruiser. It is so scary when they are sick.
I know you have to check the gums to make sure they are pink not white. With Buster I fed him a in the morning- afternoon-dinner-snack before bed to make sure his blood sugar stayed constant. He is fat now so he has to much reserves to get hypoglycemic now. I also would give Buster Nutrical gel if he looked woozy and then some protein after. The Nutrical/kayro/honey jump starts them but they need the protein for long term fuel burn or they will just crash again after the burn through the "sugar" Glad it turned out okay they do give us a fright!
