Welcome to YT, Jaxx is adorable. I rescued a 2 1/2 y/o surrendered yorkie. He came from a loving family, was / is spoiled rotten from his prev. family, I of course have added to his spoilness lol. Ihave him 14 months now, Cody is very dog aggressive, I have to assume his prev. owner did not socialize him with other dogs. I took him to obedience training as aggression can be a very serious safety issue for him and myself. They taught me how to TRY to control this behavior, it is now up to me to work with the tools they taught me. Unfortunately due to winter setting in I have not been able to start on my own to train him. He is not leash walked a lot. I live in a community, there are not many dogs walked, all are in back yards. I have to drive to town, go to a pet supply shop where there may be other dogs coming and going, then work on his behavior. Training would be a lot faster and easier if I lived in a city where many dogs were leash walked. My trainer told me, I may never get him to be non-aggressive, but I would be able to control his behavior. When the weather gets better,we will start our training. Thank you for rescuing.
