 Shadow
So I was in quite a mess when this happened. I am against breeders who have no knowledge into what they were doing. I have been staying over my boyfriends house for almost a year now and they have 3 yorkies. They paired two(against my warnings) and ended with momma shadow having 4 puppies. I woke up at 3 am from the daddy Thailer barking at the panic and commotion from the other room. Shadow had given birth to her first pup. I made sure she ate enough through out each contraction for I was worried about eclampsia she was trembling. I had nutrical and Esbilac for her and food. I even borrowed my reptiles heat lamp who I apologized to afterwards. I helped her stop trembling and after the fourth puppy she seemed perfectly fine at 5am. If I was not there I am scared to think what might have happened. After the second day though 3 puppies died and I tried to revive them I awake to another commotion early in the morning. They had been suffocated by shadow and she was a first time mom. I cried so much and blamed myself for not keeping a closer eye. One survived and I had spent sleepless nights on watch during his first week. Shadow refuses to eat so sometimes i have to sit there and put the food in my hand to entice her to eat(which only i and my bf seem to do) It has been a stressful 3 weeks for me with uneducated breeders and I am in an attempt to convince them to spay and neuter(not sure if kidnapping the dogs to get neutered is a good idea) Although I will always love and am so thankful for my little puppy |
