Be polite, but tell her to mind her own business. Many purebred Yorkies are very light in color.
DNA testing is possible, but AKC will require YOU to pay for the testing, NOT the breeder. It believe it starts at $500.
Years ago when Yorkies were very black, there was a new girl who entered the ring named, LACE..she was gorgeous..and she was VERY light silver...after seeing her, I started breeding for a lighter Yorkie as well as many others..you still see light in many parts of the country..here in FLroida, they like BLACK!. Look at Durrer's in Canada..she shows a lighter Yorkie.
