I, too, was overwhelmed in the beginning. It took a while for me to get over the anxiety of this condition....every time Cookie looked even a tad bit off, I would run to the vet and have blood work done. I still watch her closely, but I am so much more relaxed about it now. She is on the same home cooked diet that she was put on at the time and she loves it! She recently had blood work done and all is well.

Does your Shyanne have symptoms? Is she on medications? Have they suggested a food for her?

Hi - I would like to talk to you a little more about what you did for Cookie. What is the homemade diet - did your vet recommend it? Also I was told that Shyanne would probably have to be on medication for life. When were you able to start cutting it down or out completely. She is on a lot of medication. Prednisone, Atopica, metronidazole,
cerenia, Tylan, b-12 shots, compounded aspirin and prescription diet.
