Hi there!

I think you try to best quality food that fits your budget and what your dog likes to eat. Blue Buffalo is a good food and I've fed that. A friend uses Royal Canin and it works for her dog. Our Emma is currently on Nutri Source Grain Free Chicken Formula. Its what she was on with her breeder.

What I like about it is her coat is silky and shiny. Her poops are small, firm and about 2-3 times a day. She's free fed so that makes a difference in the frequency I think.

Just do one of those dog food analysis and try something out. Some companies do have samples you can try. Good Luck.
