I'm not a breeder and I'm sure there will be some to answer your question. However, I do know that they like for you to keep them on what the breeder is feeding them and I believe a lot of breeders do like the Royal Canine food. I don't know much about that brand of food. My little one was on the Fromm Puppy Gold food until he was one. I never had an issue with it and he loved it. I do know if you switch him it has to be a gradual switch mixed with your old food. IMO you have to do what is best for you and your new puppy. Best of luck!
