Thank you so much Pat.

I called the vet this AM, and his ass't. said they do not like to sedate (I used that word when I called) animals.

She suggested using a crate. I told her that I used to confine her to the laundry room, and now let her roam the entire house because she even got anxious being confined in that room, which is medium sized.

Before medicating her, she said to confine her to a crate.
She states 8 hours is fine, and just put water in it, no food.

I have a crate and only used it one night when I first got her. She was an adult when I brought her home.

I will give this a try, and I made a note of your recommendation just in case I need to go further with this issue.

What do you think about this 8 hour crate confinement?

I thought one should never crate an animal for more than a few hours, but I am no expert at this.

Many thanks.
