I agree with the others, building a relationship with your vet is so important on many levels. One example, if you ever want to consider pet insurance, the company will require the medical record from the vet. Another thing I would advise is to make an early appointment for vaccinations... in case of a reaction you can go back to the vet and get help while they are still open.
